VILLA IN ALCUDIA WITH STUNNING VIEWS AND A PRIVATE POOL

A 40 minute car ride from the airport, Can Iroca is a beautiful finca situated just a few kilometers from the towns of Puerto Pollenca, Pollenca and Alcudia. Surrounded by olive trees and lavender the finca has uninterupted views of the nearby bays of Puerto Pollenca and Formentor along with bewitching Tramuntana mountains which make it an ideal haven for families.

Can Iroca boasts 3 double, 1 twin and 1 single bedroom all with on suite bathrooms. The kitchen has a wonderful Le Cornue cooking range for all your needs, including 2 ovens (1 electric, 1 gas), 4 gas burners, 1 gas solid top and 1 gas lava/rock grill, and is wonderfully equipped with many small kitchen appliances and an abundance of crockery and glasses. The outdoor BBQ area, designed in the style of a South African "boma", makes a wonderful place for al fresco dining and is equipped with a sink and fridge. There is a fire place should one find the evening a bit too chilly.

The interior of the villa has been designed in a traditional and uncomplicated style and offers a comfortable retreat for those seeking a break from the summer sun.

Absolute Paradise!

Set in the stunning Mallorcan countryside with unbeatable views overlooking the bay, Can Iroca is a truly gorgeous property. You are spoilt for space in this traditional looking property. We stayed in June with another couple and our 8 month old baby and had the best holiday we've ever been on. You really feel away from it all tucked up the country road, yet you're only a 10 minute drive from Pollensa Port and Alcudia town.
Heavenly days were spent dozing by the large pool followed by BBQs in the evening under an unbelievably clear night sky. We sat at the large outdoor kitchen drinking very reasonable local cava until the early hours!
Can Iroca is a place for those who still want to enjoy a little Spanish culture on their holiday and are just as happy cooking in a spectacular villa as they are dining out. So nice getting up when we wanted and always having sun beds, the Balinese day bed was just glorious and our baby loved snoozing on it.
We were not bothered by the lack of air conditioning (quite frankly we'd rather there wasn't!) as we closed the shutters during the day and let the cooling breeze do the rest.
We are already planning our trip back, can't wait!

WONDERFUL PLACE TO BE
* 5 out of 5

If you want to hear nothing but crickets all around you and, in the distance, far enough, sheep, donkeys, a dog now and then and cocks at dawn - yes, the main road a few hundred meters away can be heard in all this silence, but not at all annoyingly so, and, yes, be prepared for a mosquito or two; if you want to relax overlooking and smelling lavender, almond fig and olive trees with the sea and the mountains in the background - quite a stunning view; if you do not mind a 10 minute drive to a beautiful beach and as short to charming Pollença, with an excellent winery on the way, consider staying here. Eight of us, two families with grown-up children, young enough to enjoy the trampolin, old enough to read on one of the many terraces, spent two wonderful weeks here. We will remember many fine details (La Cornue, Le Creuset, Miele, Egyptian cotton, sharp knives, all hardly IKEAed up). We have been to many places, but this is surprisingly just as nice as it looks on the photographs. Oh, and we were asked to please help ourselves to the rosé stacked in the rack. We felt at home instantly. Great hospitality!
